Scientists Reach Hydrogen Storage Milestone
Hydrogen cars may be feasible sooner thanks to a team at the Univ of Crete in Greece. Scientists have developed a hydrogen storage model that can store up to 41 grams of hydrogen per liter— almost matching the US Department of Energy’s target of 45 g per l. The structure comprises graphene sheets only one atom thick connected by columns of carbon nanotubes. Hydrogen is stored in gaps between nanotubes & graphene sheets. - Read More
